Kirrawee High School, Kirrawee

The conference is being held at Kirrawee High School, Kirrawee. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Royal National Park, Kirrawee (located 1 hour south of Sydney CBD) is on the land of the Dharawal people and is home to several important remnants of Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest (STIF), a critically endangered ecological community.

Kirrawee High School is a comprehensive high school and recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. Noted for its band and water polo teams, it provides many educational opportunities to its large enrolment of 1200 students. It overlooks the Royal National Park and the active environmental group within the school has planted over 500 native trees and shrubs to complement its surrounding environment.
