On Saturday we’ll be taking our lunch on the road and heading off on some fantastic field trips!

Field Trip 1 – Sustainability in Children’s Services

Explore sustainability in Children’s Services, with visits to Franklin Road Early Education Centre and one of our Family Day Care educators

Field Trip 2 – Royal National Park Walk

World Heritage, Aboriginal history, and the connection between nature, learning, and curriculum… in a bushwalk from Garrawarra Farm to Slipway Lookout, Royal National Park

Field Trip 3 – Sylvanvale Inclusive Classroom

Investigate composting, worm farming, insect hotels and bush tucker in a visit to Sylvanvale Inclusive Classroom, Garden House, Sutherland

Field Trip 4 – ANSTO

A tour of the Lucas Heights facility of ANSTO – one of Australia’s largest public research organisations and widely recognised as an international player in the field of nuclear science and technology.

Please note: those choosing to attend this field trip must complete a separate booking form (managed by ANSTO) and supply some personal information for security purposes, including: Full Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Residential Address, Nationality, Photo Identification [ID Type (Driver’s Licence or Passport), State/Country of issue, and ID Number]. If you are not comfortable providing this information, please enjoy one of the other terrific field trips
