Alison Thompson

As an experienced early childhood teacher over many years, Quirindi Preschool Kindergarten was my first Directorship. Being new to the community 13 years ago, my advocacy for community collaborations has been a major influence on my professional journey. I am so grateful to the local community for their support; collectively they are the foundation of the structural changes to our preschool and the freedom to stretch the paradigms of early childhood curriculum. I view change as a critically reflective reality, driven by noticing the impact of environmental changes on not only our preschool environment, but our broader community.
