I have been working as an environmental educator for 10 years. Utilising my background in horticulture, I involved myself early in the movement of grow-your-own, backyard organic gardening as sustainability action. I coordinated community gardens and a city farm. I taught volunteers and communities.
After much reflection, I have concluded that our human nature relationship cannot be healed via superficial solutions. I now utilise my studies in Social Ecology to seek deeper solutions based on nature connection, grief and empowerment work and ecopsychology to ignite passion and connection in people to our natural home.
