The following tours ran concurrently on the afternoon of Saturday 23 April.

The Tuggerah Lakes kayak tour was available to those living or working in the Tuggerah Lakes catchment. 

KU Preschool Early Learning Centre 
Join Rosanne Pugh for a close look at the award-winning Forest Preschool at KU Ourimbah Preschool and Children’s Centre.

Rumbalara Environmental Education Centre 
Enjoy a tour of Rumbalara Environmental Education Centre including teacher training on the use of field equipment and a short bushwalk.

Narara EcoVillage 
Learn about social, economic and environmental sustainability on a tour of the Narara Eco Village. Proudly supported by Narara Eco Village.

Local indigenous tour 
Visit significant Indigenous sites with a local Aboriginal Heritage Officer.

Kayak tour of Tuggerah Lakes 
Central Coast Council’s environmental education team will share their ecological knowledge of Tuggerah Lakes estuary on a FREE kayak tour. This project received grant funding from the Australian Government’s Environment Restoration Fund program.
